Caramelized Grilled Pineapple

The PCG-10 Griddle


INGREDIENTS

1 Fresh Pineapple cut into spears or cubes

3 Tablespoons of Cinnamon

Optional - (If you have more of a sweet tooth)

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Butter melted


DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat your griddle to medium-high heat.

  2. Put pineapple spears (or cubes) into a large bowl and cover with cinnamon. Stir to coat evenly.

  3. Whisk together the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. If it seems thick, I always put it in the microwave for a few seconds so that it can easily pour on top of the pineapple.

  4. Place pineapple on griddle and rotate every 2 minutes until lightly browned and slightly caramelized on all sides. Brush the sauce from the pan back on top of the pineapple before serving.

  5. Serve while still warm.
